Hi, I’m James, an experienced carpenter based in Coventry, West Midlands, with a passion for crafting quality, lasting work - and a deep-rooted understanding of how buildings come together from the ground up.
Before I picked up the tools full-time, I worked as a professional surveyor. That background gives me a unique insight into building construction, structural integrity, and the all-important building regulations that keep everything safe and compliant. While surveying was a great career, I found myself increasingly drawn to the hands-on side of the trades and made the leap - retrained, refocused, and haven’t looked back.
Now, as a carpenter, I bring that same level of precision and knowledge into every project I take on. Whether it’s bespoke joinery, fitting kitchens, or complete renovations, I pride myself on hard work, a meticulous eye for detail, and a genuine love for what I do. It’s a background that not many carpenters bring to the table -and it’s something that I feel sets my work apart.
My aim? Work closely with my clients to deliver work that not only looks great, but stands the test of time - built with care, from someone who truly understands the structure beneath the surface.
